Rules come from the developer's own game description. Menu layouts and exact numbers are not published by the developer and can change between updates.
The one rule that matters
+1 Upgrade Per Kill is a free-for-all arena PvP game on Roblox, published by the Block PvP group. The developer sums it up in two lines:
- Every kill upgrades your gear by one step.
- Every death sends you back to zero.
Everyone in the server (up to 25 players) is an opponent. Your armor climbs a fixed ladder: Leather → Copper → Iron → Full Diamond → Ruby → Shadow → Prism → MAXED. The full ladder, and what is and is not known about how many kills each tier takes, is on the upgrade tier ladder page.
The developer describes fights as having crits, knockback and real armor, so expect better-armored players to take longer to bring down.
Your first session, step by step
- Claim the free gifts. The developer's description offers a free gift for the code
WELCOMEand another for joining the Block PvP group. Details and other reported codes are on the codes page. - Start as Warrior. Warrior is named in the game description but has no Robux pass in the store, so it is the class you can play without buying anything. Paid classes cost 25 to 399 Robux; compare them on the classes page.
- Look for safe kills first. Each kill is one step, so early on the goal is simply to land kills without trading your life for them. Avoid fighting several players at once.
- Treat a long streak as something to protect. The higher your Upgrade, the more a single death costs. Back off to reset a fight rather than chasing a low-health opponent into a crowd.
- Hunt high-Upgrade players when you can win. The description says hunting high-Upgrade players gives bonus XP, so a well-armored target is worth more than a fresh spawn – if you can actually finish the fight.
Systems you will meet next
The game description lists these systems beyond the core fight. Use it as a map; we only cover the ones we can source in detail.
| System | What the developer says | Where to read more |
|---|---|---|
| Classes | 8 named in the description; 10 are sold or available in the store | Classes |
| Gear Saver | Keep your armor after a death at a high Upgrade | Gear Saver |
| Perks | Bought with Gold | Not yet covered: prices are not published officially |
| Enchants | Rolled | Not yet covered |
| Crates and Capes | Opened and collected | Not yet covered |
| Leaderboards | Best Streak, Top Kills, Fastest Diamond | Tier ladder |
Common mistakes
- Spending your whole streak on one risky chase. A death resets everything, so the last kill of a long streak is the most expensive one to lose.
- Assuming every class is listed in the description. The description names 8 classes, but the store also sells Ghost and Seer. Check the class list before buying.
- Using exploit scripts. Script sites advertise kill aura and similar cheats for this game. They break the Roblox Terms of Use and risk your account; this wiki does not link to them.
What we have not confirmed
We have not played the game hands-on for this guide. The number of kills needed for each tier, the Gold earned per kill, and the exact lobby menu layout are not in the developer's description, so we leave them out rather than guess.
Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
Do you lose everything when you die?+
You lose your upgrade progress: the developer says every death sends you back to zero. A Gear Saver lets you keep your armor if you die at a high Upgrade.
How many players are in a server?+
Up to 25 players per server, according to the game's Roblox listing.
